Michael R. Hall is the Director of New Media at NESN, the sports television network owned by the owners of the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, and Liverpool FC. Michael is responsible for NESN’s digital strategy and business development. He has full responsibility for NESN.com and NESN’s entire digital product line, including mobile applications, tablet applications, and social media integrations. His expertise is in building profitable digital media businesses, and he possesses more than 10 years of experience with Web technology, mobile technology, editorial strategy for the Internet, digital advertising sales, agile software development, and e-commerce product development.
Prior to joining NESN, Michael worked at ESPN.com, where he led search and content syndication initiatives, and at ABC.com, where he led development of ABC.com’s user engagement platform, including fantasy games, message boards, blogs and web videos.
Michael is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a degree in computer science.
